Alix Bénézech is a young actress who grew up in a multicultural and literary atmosphere. After brilliant studies (she enters the Theatre class at the prestigious Lycée des Pontonniers where she obtains her baccalaureate a year ahead of time and with Mention Très Bien, then she enters the Hypokhâgne/Khâgne preparatory class, and validates a Master of Modern Letters on Marcel Proust with Mention Very Good), she rediscovers her passion for Theatre.
She began her career at the Théâtre 14 with the role of Christine Daaé in Le Fantôme de L’Opéra directed by Henri Lazarini, where she played alongside Benoit Soles, and the role of Lucile in Les Serments Indiscrets de Marivaux directed by Anne-Marie Lazarini at the Théâtre Artistic. She will return to the stage in 2019 to play the role of the young premiere in Les Rivaux by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, where she plays alongside Catherine Salviat, Honorary Member of the Comédie Française. Alix Bénézech‘s performance was acclaimed by the press and the public.
At the same time, she plays in the Cinema, small roles such as in Venus Noire by Abdelatif Kechiche, La Belle Saison by Catherine Corsini, L’Odeur de la Mandarine by Gilles Legrand, Des Lendemains qui chantent by Nicolas Castro, and supporting roles such as in BIS by Dominique Farrugia, Camping 3 by Fabien Ontoniente, in the main roles where his performances have won awards, notably in Yann Le Quellec’s Le Quepa sur la Vilni presented at the Directors’ Fortnight at the Cannes Film Festival, En Attendant Violette by Matthieu Maury and Warren Dupuy, and Alex Lee’s La Vie Nous Appartient, a film that won awards at several international festivals.
Her career takes on an international dimension in 2018, when Tom Cruise and Christopher McQuarrie choose her to be the « Frenchie » of Mission Impossible Fall Out. The film breaks all records at the BoxOffice, it is awarded several prizes, and Alix’s performance is unanimously acclaimed by professionals, the press and the public. She shoots under the direction of Clint Eastwood in the film The 15:17 to Paris.
In 2019, she is chosen to play the lead role in the film Juliet directed by Bandar Albuliwi. Alix has also appeared in successful series for French and international television, in recurring roles for Nina on France 2 and Alice in Paris on Amazon Prime, and as a guest star in Whiskey Cavalier for ABC and TF1, Emily in Paris for Netflix where she plays alongside Lily Collins, Munch for TF1, Cassandre and Le Sang de la Vigne for France 3. She is the first French actress to be a Jaguar muse. Alix Bénézech is committed to the cause of Women, she participated in the documentary Pygmalionnes directed by Quentin Delcourt, presented at the Cannes Film Festival, the preview took place on November 20th at the Forum des Images and the film was released in theatres on January 22nd, 2020.
