Desigual and the revolutionary Los Angeles designer Johnson Hartig join forces.
Johnson Hartig (Libertine), is one of the most innovative creative geniuses in the fashion industry, as well as Desigual, also shares the same vision of fashion design: mixing inspirations as eclectic as meticulous, playing with color, claiming the patchwork, combining prints, etc. In short, it’s about daring, having fun and making surprising, non-conformist and categorical proposals.

According to Hartig, “Desigual is known for its vibrant prints and colors, which is also reflected in the designs of my own brand: Libertine. It was a great joy to know that I could be as crazy as I wanted to be with the prints and colors. “My designs are sometimes even more restrained than those of Desigual,” jokes the designer. “In this collection, we created a print based on a multicolored patchwork that is both incredible and very harmonious.”
Discover the details of the collection : Conceived around the concept of the juxtaposition of elements, the #DesigualXJohnsonHartig capsule celebrates the meeting of the two creative worlds, that of the famous North American designer on the one hand and the Spanish brand on the other.
The 25 garments in the collection are truly unique. Among them is a hard to forget bomber jacket: on a black nylon base, an infinite number of contrasting colored ribbons sewn from the neck. On the garments, you can read some of the principle statements of Johnson Hartig’s philosophy, alternating with colored beads, rhinestones, bangs… To create an impressive total look, this outfit includes matching Bermuda shorts. As for the more daring, they can always choose another impressive combo: a hoodie with zipper and shorts full of sequins and patches in contrast.
More is más : The collection also leaves room for endless mosaics of hypnotic prints, one of the distinctive features shared by Desigual and Johnson Hartig. Other clothes that could become bestsellers have a rather preppy air: it is a blazer, with its respective shorts, with gingham checks of different colors and sizes, with sewn patches.
A few touches of denim, crochet embroidery, rhinestone appliqués, graphic print t-shirts, a hat and two pairs of unforgettable sneakers complete the capsule: a direct appeal to those who live and express themselves with fashion from a unique perspective.
