Ramdam : They come from Bordeaux, Reunion Island and Paris. They love art, music and meeting people. Eva, Antoine T., Antoine H., Pigé, Pierre, and Manu have decided to combine their passions into one idea. There are already many Parisian parties, but Ramdam wants to make a difference by offering a real concept where all the arts meet. It is precisely this multidisciplinary aspect that visitors like, because you can dance, debate, enjoy and stroll around, all in the same evening.
Eva – in graphic design school – and Antoine T. – barman and journalist – exhibit and decorate. With Antoine H., they prepare the place to create a well thought atmosphere. Ideas are bubbling in their heads, they love travelling, social facts and share it through images and frantic discussions. Manu, Pierre and Pigé are DJs. Passionate about all kinds of music, they now produce their own sounds and, as the first edition of Ramdam on 23 April proved, they get us off to a flying start with funk, disco and house, but also with more Arabian or tropical sounds. Their stage names? Les Deux and Azur. Ramdam is not a name chosen at random, it’s an obvious one.
“The Ramdam is a din, a racket, a noise, a burst of sound. The racket wakes us up.
For its next edition, Ramdam will once again set up shop at the Maison des Célestins, now nicely renamed “Les Nautes”. With its feet in the Seine and facing the Ile Saint Louis, this house is the perfect place to mix culture and relaxation, whether you’re sitting at the bar or relaxing on the terrace. The small team wants to continue creating events by adding different arts each time. The next event will take place on 27 May at Les Nautes, under the sun of course.
