Valentino names Alessandro Michele as artistic director
On March 22, the fashion scene was rocked by the departure of Pierpaolo Piccioli, Valentino’s iconic artistic director, after 25 years at the helm of the Italian house. The announcement of his replacement was not long in coming. Alessandro Michele will take over the reins of Valentino on March 28. With his maximalist, flamboyant style, the former Gucci artistic director has revolutionized the brand’s aesthetic since 2015. His arrival at Valentino is already raising high expectations.

Rihanna on the cover of Vogue China
Rihanna continues to expand her empire with her Fenty Beauty brand. After conquering India, she is now turning her attention to China, where her brand will be available from April. To celebrate this event, Rihanna poses on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue China. In several different editorials, the famous Barbadian is featured in Louis Vuitton outfits. She also highlights emerging Chinese designers.

The collaboration between Y-3, Yohji Yamamoto’s brand, and Real Madrid has given rise to a premium clothing collection.
