Introducing Sneaker Beast; a celebration of sneaker culture at Browns throughout the month of May that will showcase an exhibition of iconic styles from Stadium Goods, the premier sneaker and streetwear marketplace in the world.
Over a four-week period launching from May 15th, luxury London retailer Browns will become home to a series of hot exclusives and activations that celebrate the all-encompassing world of sneakers, street culture and its community with an in-store presence at Browns East. This first-ever collaboration with Stadium Goods, who joined the Farfetch family in January 2019, will showcase the merging worlds of sneakers and luxury products. Stadium Goods will bring an exciting edit of their unrivalled offering, as well
as an exhibition of their one-of-a-kind trophy case. A selection of both previously sold out and ready to wear styles will be available for purchase at Browns East as well as online on Browns and Stadiumgoods.com. Alongside Stadium Goods, Browns has curated an enticing edit of sneakers from brands such as Prada, Off-White and Gucci highlighting the significance and phenomenon of sneaker culture across the entire industry.
To mark the partnership, Browns will celebrate the community that has made the sneaker world the revered space we have come to know. This includes a three-way co-branded collaboration with Stadium Goods and London-based creative institution, Superimpose (via Services Unknown) to design a capsule of exclusive exhibition merchandise that will include t-shirts, track pants, lighters, candles and more. The rest of the month will see a host of experiential retail activations that celebrate sneaker culture and the creatives that inspire their world. It will be the first time Adidas will be stocked at Browns East – the launch of their female focused Magmur sneaker will precede a week-long celebration of collectors titled ‘Women who Lace’.
London based brand Clothsurgeon, founded by Rav Matharu, will be popping up to create an exclusive capsule which reinterprets modern streetwear and delivers access to upcycled styles. Much hyped US streetwear label Chinatown Market will also drop in-store as well as online with exclusive prints on a selection of jersey pieces as well as their most iconic sporting goods. Chinatown Market will also be headed over to London for the first ever in-store Browns Custom Lab for one-day only on Saturday 1st June.
In 2017, Browns opened Browns East, the first iteration of Browns Nomad – a roaming retail concept that evolves with the neighborhood it resides in. The space is an ever-changing store highlighting key brand moments, collaborations and exclusives within the entrance and focus areas. The in-store activation will give clients access to the previously mentioned exclusives as well as shop new season styles from the Browns luxury offering and hot launches which are dropping in May such as the Adidas x Raf Simons Ozweego and the highly anticipated Asics x GMBH style. This edit of luxury alongside the new generation of design has been at the heart of Browns and championed by Mrs Burnstein since its inception. For access to further details visit www.brownsfashion.com or at Browns East which is located in the heart of Shoreditch at 21 Club Row, E2 7EY. (East London area).
