The Exhibition-Event “Hey Mummy! Project” is back for a second edition! It will focus on the theme of transgenerational women and will take place from Tuesday 31 May to Sunday 5 June at the 59 Rivoli Gallery.
The project is supported by the association “OOps! ACC”, an organisation working to support contemporary art and culture. 15 women artists from their twenties to their seventies are gathered for this second opus, which will present installations, sculptures, paintings, drawings, photographs, videos and performances.
“Hey Mummy! Project” is a protean and transdisciplinary event-exhibition that will last for a long time with cycles of exhibitions, conferences, meetings-signatures (bridge between human sciences and arts) and performative evenings.
It is an invitation to wander through the heart of women’s lineages, punctuated by memorial objects in the form of pictorial, sculptural and sound punctuations, making the link between the past and the present. The first show in September 2021 was very well received by the public.
The event-exhibition will develop and become a touring exhibition in France and abroad. The exhibiting artists come from several French regions, but also from Rome, Florence and London. Many of them have initiated innovative and unifying projects, including the “Laboratoire des Arts de la Performance” as well as [Re]production, or Missive Selvatiche.
Six guests will also bring their reflections and a unique perspective on the issue of transgenerational women during the “Meetings and Signatures” evening, such as Christine Ulivucci, transgenerational psychoanalyst and Frankie Wallach, director of the film “Trop d’amour”.
This exhibition-event is rich in partnerships, notably with the Paris City Hall, 59 Rivoli, Grasset, Presses universitaires Paris Nanterre, Payot, Causette magazine or even Anamosa.
