For the third year in a row AliExpress, the international marketplace of the Alibaba group, opens its big event to the French market.
Alibaba’s “11.11 Festival” is the world’s largest 24-hour online shopping event, organized on November 11, the symbolic date of the “Double 11”.
For the very first time in France, AliExpress is making this annual event a reality with an evening open to the general public, offering a unique line-up of international artists, immersive experiences and scenographies.
The event took place on Thursday, November 11 at the Parc des Expositions at the Porte de Versailles. On the program: Bob Sinclar, Soso Maness, Ofenbach, Andy 4000, Vladimir Cauchemar, Macadam Crocodile, Mara and Mezigue & Mad Rey will perform on stage.
At the beginning of the festival, festival-goers can also discover 4 scenographic corners corresponding to the four most popular trends of the French Gen Z: Neo-yogi (cosy & cocooning), Teen-preneurs (urban & powerful), Fashionista (preppy & colorful) and Body positivists (sporty, curvy, & diversity).
This festival is also an aesthetic and visual experience, with collections designed exclusively with female influencers. On each of the corners, ambassadors were present to showcase their selection of fashion, make-up, tech, sports and home decor (between 30 and 35 items per corner), chosen on the AliExpress website.
During the whole evening were also proposed: tattoo workshop, graffiti wall, arcade terminals, silent disco party, hair and make-up workshops, area dedicated to the creation of videos for social networks.
The 11.11 Festival has been dematerialized so that the onsite experience can also be enjoyed behind the small screen through multiple digital devices! Real time live streams were programmed on Youtube, Twitch and the AliExpress application. A televised broadcast of the concert was also scheduled for the same evening on W9. On each of these platforms, the spectators were invited from home to participate in the various challenges and winning moments offered during the evening.
