Yogan Le Fouler-Barthel (songwriter and voice-lead) meets Jérémy Bénichou (guitarist, arranger and backing vocals) in 2011. They become accomplices by practicing music together and rearranging during few months compositions that Yogan had previously lived solely through his guitar, and his voice with a particular folk timbre.
Through his DJ-producer talents, Jérémy brings an electro touch to these tracks. This genders mixture becomes their sound signature and the two acolytes decide to continue their musical adventure together under the name of Diva Faune; A name also placed under the sign of ambivalence since it plays on different contrasts that characterize us all: the masculine, the feminine, the eccentric, the sacred, the savage …
The Diva Faune sound mixes electronic culture, Britpop and folk and is reminiscent of Milky Chance, Lily Wood & The Prick or MGMT. On stage, the duo shared guitars, keyboards and pads. The group performs in London and ensures the first parts of the French dates of the English group Coasts.
