BAOBAB is a Colombian brand founded by Isabella Espinoza in 2015 in Bogota.
The Colombian eco-responsible brand presented its latest collection of swimwear and summer dresses in Paris, during a cruise on the Seine.
BAOBAB is a regenerative brand that gives as much as it takes from the planet. “We wanted to create a circular production model from the beginning. We use ocean waste to create new materials for our products. We clean our coral reefs of the various fishing nets, plastic, and other detritus that litter them, and then recycle and transform them into material. We also use a technical jersey made of 100% recycled polyester. As for the printing and the colors of our clothes, all our processes do not require any water or chemical resources” explains the designer.
BAOBAB is an inclusive brand. “We want everyone to have fun and feel good in our clothes,” says Isabelle Espinoza.
The swimsuits are available for delivery worldwide on the brand’s e-shop and distributed in a selection of historical outlets: Bloomingdales, Saks, Revolve, among others.
