Global brand UGG®, based in Southern California, and acclaimed Chinese designer Feng Chen Wang are delighted to launch their collaboration, which features a campaign that contrasts ice, which represents winter, with sand, often associated with summer. This mix represents harmony in deconstruction, inspired by the UGG x Feng Chen Wang shoes. Unisex and wearable in all seasons, the brand’s classic boots can be transformed into sandals.
Designer Feng Chen Wang has an experimental and authentic approach to fashion, which she herself describes as “future-modern”. Reconciling UGG’s iconic identity with her own multi-dimensional aesthetic, the UGG® x Feng Chen Wang collaboration deconstructs the most timeless design of the UGG® brand – creating a new version of the classic UGG® boot silhouette characterised by harmonious contradictions and suitable for both summer and winter.
The shoe features two modular elements – a buckle-fitting sandal and a comfortable sheepskin boot lining – that can be worn together or separately for three-in-one functionality.
