SAM SAMOURAÏ, famous for his musical compositions where he puts forward rap and sape (fashion Congolese concept), is a Congolese rapper.
In his works, he frequently relates RAP and SAPE with texts to blossom the lovers of good music and to make discover the Congolese sapphic culture and the rest of the world.
Born on 19 July 2000 in Pointe-Noire in the Republic of Congo, SAM SAMOURAÏ, whose real name is JOSUÉ ULRICH MBEMBA, is a Congolese artist, rapper, author and composer, one of the greatest figures of the current Congolese scene. He is also the author of several successful hits such as SAPO GANG part 2 and 3.
Having been around the music scene at a very young age, he developed a precocious talent and started to get into rap in 2007. Noticed in the street, he participates in many musical scenes, including : With the French Institute of Congo.
Also called DE LA MODA, he is considered a leader in the Congolese rap scene with his SAPO GANG style. In 2020, he became a professional rapper by joining the production company MG STUDIO PRODUCTION.
Very inspired by hip hop, his incredible flow and his prods make him an artist in his own right. Revealed a few months ago to the general public thanks to his songs, the artist SAM SAMOURAÏ is one of the main potential exports for Congolese rap. In just one year of professional career, he has become BRAND AMBASSADOR of three major companies in Congo: Les Brasseries du Congo, the telecommunications company MTN CONGO, and the company ORCA CONGO.
His latest single, entitled “HRB”, dates from April 2021. Navigating easily between Rap and Sape, the artist Sam Samouraï has collaborations planned in 2021. He has just launched his own musical structure called SAPO GANG DISTRICT, which he produces himself.
