Inspired by the legends of the sporting world, the Transversale collection is a condensed blend of art and sport born under the sun of Marseille.
One thing is certain, the spring-summer 2021 collection of the Transversale house exudes energy from each piece. The project was born from the meeting of local artists who combined their passion for art and sport and put all their enthusiasm to create truly original sportswear. Freedom of expression, friendship and passion are at the heart of this brand which has a special concept store in the center of Marseille. More than a store, it is a meeting point for the artists who collaborated on the collection.
Matthieu Redon, illustrators Marion Ben-Lisa and Anna Uru, and photographer Rodrigo Gonsalez are some of the artists who participated. Each of them was able to express their vision of the sport and make it a reality for the clothes. And let’s not forget the collaboration with the Stade Olympique de Marseille. For a brand that shows so much fair play, it certainly couldn’t fail to pay attention to the environment.
The collaboration with local brands and artists in a short circuit, all based in France, allows to reduce the carbon footprint and the production is limited to avoid waste. All the products in the collection are printed and embroidered in France. Well done guys.
