Christian Louboutin goes into nail polish! It’s no surprise that Christian Louboutin is getting into nail polish. We all know the story of the heels that make you dream but hurt your feet! Louboutin’s first red sole was painted with nail polish. So, the brand pays tribute to its vertiginous shoes with a range of nail polishes with packaging very inspired by the famous Ultima Ballerina (below).

Already available on the brand’s e-shop for €45, Rouge Louboutin will go on sale in France on August 25th. You will be able to buy it in shops and at the Printemps store on Haussmann Boulevard The shoe manufacturer has also thought of the trendy girls by selling more than 30 nail polishes in pop, nude and chic colours (above). Available from September 1st, it has joined forces with the American group Batallure Beauty for this colourful range.

After a joint exhibition in Paris in 2007, Christian Louboutin is collaborating for a second time with the American director David Lynch. To promote the nail polish, the director and the shoe manufacturer have created a short film (below) with their images. The result is an imaginary world, strange shapes, the Ultima Ballerina, the nail polish and of course a lot of red!
