Phoebe Philo launches her own fashion label
After working for Chloé and Céline, Phoebe Philo has made a dazzling return to the fashion industry. On 30 October 2023, the British designer announced the launch of her very first collection via her online site phoebephilo.com. The focus is on minimalism, with impeccably finished creations. With chunky coats, asymmetrical dresses and leather accessories, Phoebe Philo hasn’t done things by halves. The proof: many pieces are already sold out!
Walter Chiapponi named artistic director of Blumarine
Blumarine, the famous Italian fashion house, has announced the arrival of Walter Chiapponi as its new artistic director on 2 November 2023. The appointment follows the departure of Nicola Brognano on 12 October. After his years at Bottega Veneta and Tod’s, the Milanese designer is taking on a new challenge. He will present his first Blumarine show at Milan Fashion Week next February. We can’t wait!

Disney+ announces a series about Cristóbal Balenciaga
Here’s some news that will delight lovers of series and fashion! The famous streaming platform is to devote a series to the life of legendary fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga. Available from 19 January 2024, the series will trace the beginnings of the fashion house, which was founded in the midst of World War II. In terms of casting, Alberto San Juan has been chosen to play the role of the great designer. We can’t wait too !
