Set small goals
Another way to face your anxieties is to set small goals in overcoming your fears. This can be a way for you to make your fears seem smaller and easier to overcome. This could be raising money for a small business, or meeting with possible partners to fund your business. The first steps are always the hardest but it’s better to start small and be consistent.
If you’re scared of public speaking, a small goal could be speaking up in a small group at work, or saying yes to a presentation in front of a group of people. These small steps, which put you outside of your comfort job can help you overcome your fear.
Seek out help from mentors
Overcoming a fear is no easy task, it’s okay to ask for help from a friend, family member or mentor. They can give you needed perspective on this fear and advice about how to overcome it. Maybe they also went through a similar hardship or once had and overcame the same fear and can give you their own lived experiences in order to help you.
