You’ve probably already heard of Pattaya, the upcoming French comedy that’s sure to put a smile on our faces ?
If not, it’s the latest directorial effort from Frank Gastambide, who already gave us a good laugh with Les Kaïra.
In a nutshell, we find Franky (Frank Gastambide himself) and Krimo (Malik Bentalha) who, fed up with their drab lives here, decide to move to Pattaya, Thailand’s famous seaside resort! To get away more cheaply, they sign up their local dwarf (Anouar Toubali) for the world dwarf Thai boxing championships.
So here they are, off on a wild adventure that’s bound to go off in all directions, much to our delight! The cast also includes such comedy greats as Gad Elmaleh, Ramzy Bedia, Fred Testot, Sami Bouajila, Sabrina Ouazani and even Cyril Hanouna!
While we wait for the film’s release on 24 February, we’re giving you an early look at the first extract from the film’s official soundtrack, to which we’re sure you’ll love celebrating. Here’s “On met les voiles” by Alonzo, produced by DJ Kore. The full soundtrack will be released on 19 February 2016, but it’s already available for pre-order from Fnac !
