Jenna is an rising French artist who unveiled her first EP, The Art of Not Being, on 11 April 2025. Consisting of six tracks, this opus marks a remarkable entry into the contemporary French pop scene.
Between introspection and poetry
The first track, I need bravery, begins with piano, sounding like a plea or a call for help. Guitar accompanies the backing singers, adding beauty and poetry to Jenna’s lyrics.
The Kodd team’s favourites are a heart that never came, what do they know? And it was better before. They explore themes of love, doubt and the quest for self. The arrangements are sensitive and the vocals singular, but above all full of emotion.
The lead track, I wish we could say everything to each other, is a perfect illustration of this approach, combining delicate melodies and heartfelt lyrics. With this EP, Jenna confirms her artistic singularity and her ability to reach a wide public. Her style, at the crossroads of French chanson and contemporary pop, seduces with its authenticity and emotional depth.
