Tony Ann is a Canadian pianist and composer renowned for his virtuosity and ability to blend neo-classical and pop styles. His love of music began at an early age, and he was introduced to composition at the age of 6 after watching the documentary ‘Beethoven Lives Upstairs’. It was then that he decided to make it his profession and quickly became the prodigy of his generation. He gained worldwide fame by sharing his original compositions on social networks, accumulating over 100 million views and attracting a community of over 6 million followers.
A very special world
His ‘#playthatword’ series on social networks, in which he creates compositions based on words suggested by his audience, has particularly contributed to his popularity. In 2024, in partnership with Decca Records France, Tony Ann released a trilogy of EPs entitled ‘Emotionally blue’, ‘Emotionally orange’ and ‘Emotionally red’, exploring various human emotions through his compositions.
In addition to his solo career, he has collaborated with artists such as Don Diablo, Wrabel and L.Dre, demonstrating his versatility in genres such as EDM, Lofi and Pop. He also co-wrote the singles ‘Sick Boy’ and ‘Call You Mine’ for The Chainsmokers and toured with them as their official keyboardist on their North American tour ‘Memories: Do Not Open’ tour.
