Do you know about upcycling? If not, upcycling consists of recovering materials and transforming them to give them a new life! This concept reminds us of Do It Yourself, a trend that is very much in vogue at the moment… ARTE Creative has therefore decided to create the “Fully Fashioned – The Challenge” competition for you.
So if you’ve understood correctly, the aim of the competition is to recover your old clothes from your wardrobes and transform them into trendy, modern and original pieces. Of course there are prizes to be won! Twenty prizes will be awarded, including a place of the ESMOD Berlin Summerschool 2015. The other prizes, equally creative, such as a PFAFF sewing machine and sewing kits.
The rest of the prizes will be awarded according to the internet users’ favourite pieces from the online voting on the ARTE Creative website. Don’t wait any longer! Grab your scissors and needles, clean out your wardrobes or those of your friends and family and start your upcycling adventure now! You have 41 days left to sew without limits. The contest is open until October 29, 2014 so hurry!
