She wore a bandana and earrings, inspired by Alicia Keys, who has been an incredible inspiration in her life and music. Her Puerto Rican roots gave her a taste for music that she could not deny. She was introduced by her father to Latin artists like Selena and the sounds of Janet Jackson, Blackstreet and Prince, and learned to love the sound of music and the feelings it gave her.
Elaine’s voice offers an element of healing, striking a harmonious balance between soothing and fierce when she sings. Writing her first song at the age of 13 and having her first studio experience at 16, she knew this was her calling.
