Nigerian superstar Adekunle Gold has just released his new album, “Catch Me If You Can”, which includes the single “One Woman” (feat. Ty Dolla $ign), the video for which has just been revealed.
Adekunle Gold is an Afro-pop artist born and raised in Nigeria. His music speaks to the world : he made a name for himself with his very first song, “Sade”, a love song that sampled the instrumental of One Direction’s “Story of My Life”.
Since then, Adekunle has released 4 albums: Gold (which debuted at #7 on the Billboard World Albums Chart), About 30 (shortlisted for the GRAMMY® Best World Album), AfroPop Vol 1 with the worldwide hit “Something Different”, and most recently Catch Me If You Can.
The new project also features collaborations with Fatoumata Diawara, Stefflon Don, Lucky Daye, Davido, Foushee as well as the previous singles “It Is What It Is” and “Sinner”.
Adekunle Gold recently recorded the official remix of Tayc’s track “Dodo” following a freestyle on Le Mouv’ Radio in DJ Muxxa’s show, Mouv Live Club.
The “Catch Me If You Can Tour” will kick off in North America on June 2nd in Boston.
