Designed by Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire and his UNIQLO R&D team in Paris, this new collection marks the 10th season of the Uniqlo U line and its modern and minimalist essentials.
Neutral tones are mixed with bright shades for a sunny and light collection. Our lifestyles demand simple, precise and functional clothing. The Uniqlo U collection makes it a point of honour to design clothes that are well cut, versatile and practical. 35 pieces for women, 33 pieces for men and for the first time, a line is dedicated to children, 6 pieces for children in several colours and launched from February 25th.
The women’s collection is characterised by pure and minimalist silhouettes. The fabrics are light and airy made from viscose and cotton blends. The knits are executed with seamless innovation for a perfect fit. Semi-transparent shirts are available in a variety of colours in neutral or brighter tones. Jeans are precise with straight, clean cuts. Tunics and dresses are in rayon, the colours are soft and the cuts fluid. Flared cotton twill skirts will match specially cut coats for easy cycling.
Essential, functional and durable are the key words for the men’s collection. Designed for maximum practicality, the style is simple, rooted in a desire to offer precise, comfortable and fair cuts. The materials are resistant, featuring linen, cotton poplin or twill. The popular t-shirt will be available in neutral or striped, with a boat neck or round collar. Earth-coloured work trousers, jeans with classic cuts and trucker jackets are all available in matching tones.
For the first time this season, a collection is dedicated to children. Extracted from the most popular pieces of the adult collection, dresses, t-shirts and shorts have been revised to children’s size. A collection that is easy to wear, sophisticated and comfortable for children of all ages, for every day.
