The editors have tested it for you and it works! Makeup Genius is an augmented reality makeup simulator that allows you to try L’oréal products effortlessly. Thanks to the application, you will be able to have a realistic virtual make-up, share a video or a photo of your make-up on social networks as well as add products to your basket and buy them.

How does it work ?

First of all, turn on your application, enter your face in the circle on the screen and then press the “calibrate” button. Your face is now visible, even when moving. Next, scan the barcode of the product you want to try or browse through the product catalogue to start trying products. Third, select the product and the desired shade and then press “add to my look”. Finally, check out the result! The make-up is applied to your face, while moving. You can share a video or a photo of yourself on social networks as well as save it.

To change your look, press “remove my make-up” and that’s it.

Result, a very realistic virtual make-up !
