The history of Pignon Clothing
The brand was founded by Zoé Lemaitre, a trained fashion designer, alongside her father, Laurent Lemaitre. It is a family project to create a brand dedicated to urban cyclists: clothing that is technically suited to cycling, yet stylish and produced in Europe.
Combining sleek design, responsible materials and discreet technical details, the brand is aimed at an active, creative and committed generation. The brand promotes solid, useful and sustainable fashion, designed to last.
The colours are understated and urban, in shades of anthracite, beige, brick or petrol blue, with visible topstitching, textured materials and visible or embroidered labels. The factory is ethically produced in France with solidarity workshops in Portugal. The materials are organic cotton, recycled materials and linen.
