Perfume brands are forging new collaborations with artists, creating media events that are shared around the world. These partnerships boost sales and attract customers who are sensitive to art history.
The perfume of Guerlain and Matisse
The French house Guerlain, launches a collaboration with Maison Matisse, two original creations inspired by the work of one of the greatest artists of his time. The mini collection is called “The art of happiness”.
This partnership is the fruit of a common understanding, combining excellence, exactness, elegance, as well as love of nature and art.
The first creation is a revisit of the mythical Bee Bottle. The hand-painted bottle is adorned with vibrant colours like the painting “La Musique”.
Then, the second eau de parfum is entitled “Jasmine Bonheur”, in homage to the work “Thousand and One Nights”. The fragrance contains notes of jasmine, apricot and powdered iris. The case and the hood are dressed in the characteristic colours of the artist-painter.

The 29-year-old singer and pop star, Ariana Grande, has partnered with Luxe Brands to launch her first eau de parfum “Ari by Ariana Grande”. The success was immediate from its release in 2015.

The avant-garde artist has combined her mythical polka dots and flowers with the perfumes of Vuitton. We find two series of customization of three iconic fragrances, Catcher-Dreams, Spell on You and L’Immensité.
