    Luxury-art alliances are constantly multiplying. According to the latest report by Bain & Company and Altagamma, the alliance of the high-end and the world of art and crafts is a trend of the future.

    Perfume brands are forging new collaborations with artists, creating media events that are shared around the world. These partnerships boost sales and attract customers who are sensitive to art history.

    The perfume of Guerlain and Matisse

    The French house Guerlain, launches a collaboration with Maison Matisse, two original creations inspired by the work of one of the greatest artists of his time. The mini collection is called “The art of happiness”.

    This partnership is the fruit of a common understanding, combining excellence, exactness, elegance, as well as love of nature and art.

    The first creation is a revisit of the mythical Bee Bottle. The hand-painted bottle is adorned with vibrant colours like the painting “La Musique”.

    Then, the second eau de parfum is entitled “Jasmine Bonheur”, in homage to the work “Thousand and One Nights”. The fragrance contains notes of jasmine, apricot and powdered iris. The case and the hood are dressed in the characteristic colours of the artist-painter. 

    Singers create extraordinary perfumes

    The 29-year-old singer and pop star, Ariana Grande, has partnered with Luxe Brands to launch her first eau de parfum “Ari by Ariana Grande”. The success was immediate from its release in 2015.

    Celebrity is able to sell its products well thanks to a community of fans who have been supporting it since the beginning of its career and who keep increasing at the pace of its new albums.

    It strives to guarantee the safety of animals during the production of its products but also to offer a 100% vegan line.

    It is true that perfumes created by public figures hardly prosper in the perfumery market. Even today, its perfume line is flawless with a turnover exceeding 150 million dollars. Its new fragrance made the buzz on TikTok, generating over 200 million views.

    It is entitled “Mod Vanilla” and offers a delicious mix of plum and musk, sublimated by vanilla base notes.

    Louis Vuitton X Yayoi Kusama perfume

    After numerous collaborations with the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, the Louis Vuitton house leaves him his orders once again to deliver three iconic fragrances.

    The avant-garde artist has combined her mythical polka dots and flowers with the perfumes of Vuitton. We find two series of customization of three iconic fragrances, Catcher-Dreams, Spell on You and L’Immensité.

    In the first drop, we can see perfumes wearing the famous ‘Infinity Dots’ motif. The bottles are accentuated by red, multicoloured and silver dots.

    Then, in the second drop, Yayoi Kusama’s passion for flowers is highlighted. These perfume waters become real collectibles in limited edition, for the small sum of 342 $.
