The 2000s continue to gain notoriety. In terms of beauty, there’s an air of revival : thin eyebrows, graphic liner, ultra bling nails… Here are the beauty trends for the beginning of the year.
Cheekbones highlighted with blush
In 2023, we focus on cheeks. No longer discreet, we’re taking on our rosy cheeks and the tip of our nose, for a sunburn effect. With a powder or cream blush, we favour iridescent shades for maximum shine. A multi-functional blush can be used for the cheeks, eyes and mouth !
Ultra shiny nails
The 2000s are all about bling ! The trend of this new year is nail jewellery. By adding them to your false nails, you’ll look ultra shiny all the way to your hands. A real phenomenon, your nails have become an accessory in their own right.
Liner Sets
Liner is no longer just for drawing a beautiful almond-shaped eyes. With a double or triple line on the top of the eyelid, in the corner, eyeliner becomes a drawing tool for your eyes. The must: follow the contour of your upper eyelid to form a beautiful arc that you connect to the lower line to stretch your look.
Ultra-fine eyebrows
The thin or faded eyebrow is an integral part of our beauty universe. Revived during the spring/summer 2023 fashion week, the focus is now on an ultra-black look. Goodbye thick eyebrows !
The “shag” cut
Derived from the mullet, the modernised shag has never had so many fans. Reinventions of the traditional mullet have led to more sophisticated and feminine versions while keeping a very vintage spirit.
Like fashion, beauty is an eternal renewal. The trends of the 2000s have greatly influenced the way we do our hair and make-up. By making it our own, we have written a new chapter by reinventing the 2000s.
