Louboutin launches its first eyewear line
Famous for its red-soled shoes, Louboutin is diversifying its range with a new eyewear collection, in collaboration with the Marcolin group. The project was announced in February 2024, and a year later the first images of the collection were unveiled. The line comprises 17 models of sunglasses and five models of prescription glasses with a retro feel. The collection pays homage to the heritage of the Parisian house, with details such as the red accent on the frames, reminiscent of Christian Louboutin’s iconic red soles, or the studs adorning a pair of oversized aviator glasses.

Chanel offers a new chance with Eau Splendide
In this early spring, the Parisian luxury house has announced the release of Eau Splendide, the fifth perfume in the Chance line. The initial Chance fragrance, released in the early 1990s, was quickly followed by four other essences, Eau Fraîche, Eau Tendre and Eau Vive. The release of Eau Splendide strengthens the range.
Scheduled for release on 15 April, Eau Splendide offers a fruity, floral bouquet. Olivier Polge, Chanel’s perfumer-creator, has created a composition with nuances of raspberries, roses and violets “supported by a heart of rose geranium sourced directly from Chanel’s fields in Grasse. To finish, the powdery notes of iris are set against a base of cedar and white musk”.
