A campaign with a deep and fantastic underwater feel !
For his spring/summer 2015 advertising campaign, designer Philipp Plein takes us into a strange and surreal world where colourful shapes and frothy visions illuminate the darkness. We see beautiful creatures appearing as if by magic from the shadows, as if in a future dream where humans metamorphose into new forms. In shapes and colours that evoke those extraordinary inhabitants at the bottom of the sea.
This futuristic campaign is directed by rising fashion star Philipp Plein, art director and showman Etienne Russo, and renowned photographer Steven Klein. They combined their talents to unveil a series of photographs with pieces inspired by the ocean and the coral of deep underwater canyons. The collection includes shimmering dresses in silver, red and deep blue reminiscent of the Hollywood golden age. Leather jackets, cocktail dresses, sweatshirts and mini-skirts come in shades of yellow, turquoise and coral.
