You will find at ISTR restaurant a land and sea cuisine, but also an oyster and cocktails bar.
With the winter collection, you’re sure to be surprised ! Your tasting experience will be satisfying ! Since the start of the new year, the chef propose his winter creations, with a lobster cassoulet & crispy bacon, a homemade foie gras with candied seaweed, pink oysters from Tarbouriech, Rockefeller oysters, a piece of beef in the Rossini way and its butternut/coffee mash, or even a passion fruit/coco dessert.
Cocktails will be served from 6pm. They are « homemade » creations from Philippe Morin, imagined for perfect « food and spirits » combinations. From the old drinks menu, ISTR have only kept the iconic Oyster shooter (oyster, vodka, tomato), in the Bloody Mary way. For this winter, the drinks menu have been entirely renewed in order to propose a complete range of seasonal elixirs.
Since its opening, ISTR rewrites the codes established and reinterprets the typical « way of life » of New York’s Oyster bars in the heart of Le Marais. The Chef Julien Kerwien (former Table de Joël Robuchon and Guy Martin) is doing an audacious cuisine, creative and elaborated from fresh and seasonal ingredients with « land and sea » surprising recipes.
The Oyster bar propose oysters testing as various as original, served with or without homemade sauces (soy-ginger or with Tabasco). The « Food&Spirist » drinks menu propose signature cocktails or the classic ones. Come and discover this place, either you are a seafood amateur or a tapas lover. ISTR restaurant has so many original recipes, you will find what you like !
The restaurant is situated at 41 rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth, in the third arrondissement. It is open from monday to saturday, from 12h-14h30 and 18h-2h.
