Discovering the artist Solveig Sauvage
Solveig Sauvage is a versatile French contemporary artist, a primary school teacher and a painter whose work explores the links between nature, memory and transformation. Through painting, photography and immersive installations, she creates an organic world where textures, materials and forms evoke both the living and the invisible. Her approach is characterised by a poetic sensibility and a particular focus on natural cycles, erosion, the passage of time and the traces left by the body or the environment. The artist Solveig Sauvage creates a poetic and organic world that resonates particularly well with Japanese aesthetics.
