Devotion, an editorial by Patrice Berchery, a fashion photographer with a photo studio in Marseille, France.
The beginning of his story is announced by an evening in the dunes of Nefoud on the border between the kingdom of arabia and Jordan : a light, slender silhouettes crossing the sandy ridges and this was the trigger for a passion for photography.
Back in France, he contacted advertising agencies and presented his work as a traveller, which seemed to attract a lot of attention… That’s when it all began ! Campaign after campaign (Cherokee, Cacharel, Bomo le Bourget…etc). From dressed to unclothed, it’s only a step and an artistic meeting with the artistic director of Playboy magazine that leads her to collaborate with this iconic magazine for a few years.
This was followed by the publication of two books with Clara Morgane, including the “Kamasutra” and an artistic book on the 5 elements “Femmes Eléments” in 2015. Productions and travels mainly in the United States but also in Africa, Asia and Europe for brands (Kaporal, Grain de sable, Impudique, Catanzaro, Deeluxe, Coachella…etc). An adventure that is softening, his main activity in recent years, following the pandemic of COVID-19 in 2020.
He has also collaborated with magazines such as Runway USA, Who mag, FHM france, Cote mag, Stardust california, Faust, Volition USA , Most mag, Elle NYC “Amish project”…etc. Not to mention a few exhibitions : an exhibition at the International Festival of Fashion and Beauty Photography in Cannes from 2011 to 2016, another at the International Fashion Institute in 2013 “Sisters in arms” not to mention at the Docks des Suds 2014 “Barbares”.
