Monika Plusa’s Biography
Born in 1992 in Warsaw, Monika Płusa lives and works in Poland and France. She graduated with a master’s degree in photography from the Faculty of Media Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She also studied at the School of Photography and the Film School in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the Pedagogical College of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Karol Kurpiński State Primary School of Music in Warsaw (on piano).
Since 2015, a very prolific artist, she regularly exhibits her personal work both in France and in Poland in renowned galleries or on the occasion of cultural events.
Apart from her artistic activity, Monika Płusa works as a photographer for European modelling agencies (Mademoiselle Agency, United for Models, CM Models…) and major brands (La Jaquette, NS Bijoux, Exurbe Cosmetics …). She sometimes shoots for private clients.
She has also taught printmaking to children and teenagers at the Palace of Youth at the Palace of Culture in Warsaw. She currently lives and works in Arles.
