It’s been a busy week! Edward Enninful unveiled his latest iconic cover for Vogue UK, while Beyoncé is about to launch her new brand Cécred. Meanwhile, Aya Nakamura was finally honoured at the Victoires de la musique.
40 stars pose for Edward Enninful’s latest Vogue UK cover
Edward Enninful pulled out all the stops for his latest cover for British Vogue. He brought together no fewer than forty celebrities to give us a shot that is already legendary. Under the lens of Steven Meisel, the celebrities posed in either immaculate looks or black outfits. Featuring Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Dua Lipa, Serena Williams, Victoria Beckham, Cara Delevingne, Jane Fonda, Miley Cyrus and even Gigi Hadid. The event marks the departure of the man who became Vogue’s first black and gay editor-in-chief. But rest assured, Edward Enninful will still be working for Condé Nast. He has been named global creative and cultural advisor for Vogue and the other titles of the major media group.

Beyoncé announces the launch of her own hair care brand, Cécred.
Queen B is back in the spotlight not with an album, but with a new brand. Called Cécred, this line of hair products is scheduled for release on 20 February. Although we don’t yet have all the details, Beyoncé has unveiled a teaser in which she wrote “Hair is sacred“. The international star also had some fun with a play on words. Cécred is the combination of Beyoncé’s “cé” and the English word “sacred“.

Aya Nakamura crowned female artist at the Victoires de la musique
The Victoires de la musique ceremony was held at La Seine Musicale on 9 February. At this event, Aya Nakamura was finally rewarded and crowned female artist of the year. A fine piece of revenge when you realise that the 28-year-old singer had been snubbed by the show. Congratulations, Aya!
