The price of a session with a psychologist
A session with a psychologist costs on average between 40 euros and 70 euros. Thanks to the “mon psy” scheme, the fees of psychologists are fixed at 30 euros per session (40 euros for the evaluation interview of the first session) and cannot be exceeded. They are reimbursed at 60% by the health insurance, the balance being covered by the complementary insurance.
Students are entitled to 8 annual sessions with a psychologist free of charge until December 31, 2022. The student must make an appointment with a general practitioner (upon presentation of the student card or equivalent proof). The doctor will give the student a referral letter, which entitles the student to free sessions with a psychologist who is a partner in the program.
