Los Angeles-based luxury brand AMIRI is pleased to announce the opening of its first pop-up shop, located in the prestigious shopping mall in the Emirates, Dubai’s luxury destination.
For the first time in the Emirates, AMIRI will present its Pre-Spring 2021 collection in a Californian setting, inspired by the architecture and spirit of its first ever retail shop recently opened on Los Angeles’ iconic Rodeo Drive.
Created in 2014 by its founder and Creative Director Mike Amiri, AMIRI combines refined craftsmanship with the glamour of the authentic rock and roll culture and street life of Los Angeles.
Originally from L.A., Mike Amiri was influenced by the intertwined counter-cultures of the 1990s and established a distinct design signature with his hand deconstructed and embellished denim jeans, leather jackets, grunge flannel shirts and graphic T-shirts – all anchored in the nostalgic touchstones of his Californian youth.
While the brand is growing, AMIRI remains true to its roots: each garment is always a labour of love, made from the best fabrics, mostly produced in L.A. AMIRI presents its main collections twice a year at the Paris Fashion Week. Until 15 March, Mall of The Emirates, level 1, Galleria.
