Season after season, Valentine Witmeur Lab’s goal is to develop collections that offer a complete knitwear wardrobe, one that can be worn day or night.
She wants to create pieces that women want to wear, outfits that help them embody the woman they are becoming. That’s why Valentine Witmeur Lab is now launching even more elegant and refined pieces that allow all women to wear comfortable clothes that fit everyone and yet are strongly identifiable.
The Belgian brand introduces for the first time since its launch the color black, a symbol of simplicity and refinement, to reinforce its “night knit” project. Alongside the knits that have made its label famous, Valentine Witmeur Lab now offers a collection of oversized cotton shirts, playing with the art of minimalism and giving it a twist.
Valentine Witmeur Lab is a Belgian brand of graphic knit or satin clothing, launched in 2016. The collections are composed of pieces with a unique, distinctive and personal style, mainly focused on design, fitting, colors, but most of all on the quality of the product.In addition to highlighting the identity, The DNA and image of the brand, Valentine wanted to offer a collection that is comfortable, chic and cool.
After studying communication for three years in Brussels and obtaining a master’s degree in luxury and fashion management at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Valentine returned to Belgium to work for a major international fashion group, renowned for its brand positioning and approach to luxury. After two years at Smets, in the marketing & communication department, Valentine decided to launch her own brand and dedicate her time to the different facets of fashion.
This gave her the opportunity to work with various high-end clients and gain valuable experience in the field. Later, in 2016, Valentine created her own label, Valentine Witmeur Lab.
She will then be joined by Arthur Spaey – with whom she has already worked by creating the first start-up active in the sale of second hand for women online – for the commercial and financial part of the brand.
