Leading band of the British rock scene, The Wombats are back with a new track “If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You” available on the AWAL label.
A great comeback since their biggest hit in 2018 with “Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life”, which reached the TOP 3 of the UK best-selling albums chart in 2018.
As a prelude to their 5th studio album “Fix The World Not Yourself” which is scheduled for release on January 7, 2022, the Liverpool band unveils “If You Ever Leave, I’m Coming With You”, a new single with federating rhythms and swirling guitars, the infallible signature of the British trio. Following the pure catharsis of the last track “Method To The Madness”, this new single promises to be an obsessive electro-pop ode.
“I noticed that the years 2020 and 2021 made many Interpersonal relationships difficult, I felt like the people around me were really struggling. For me, this single touches on this question of whether it is the situation that creates the tension? Or does it just highlight pre-existing incompatibilities?” says Murph.
