After the success of “I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it” released at the beginning of year 2016, The 1975 will be at the Zenith of Paris the 1 of February next for a famous concert and at the Transbordeur of Lyon on the 7th.
After a first opus which achieved a real worldwide success with more than a million copies sold, this second album is bold and intelligent, filled with effective pop melodies and dotted with electro sounds, an ambitious challenge for the young English band! They have an unlimited ambition and the rare talent of those who succeed.
The 1975 is a success story as we meet little. Healy, Adam Hann (guitar), Ross MacDonald (bass) and George Daniel (percussion) met on the benches of the school in the suburb of Manchester 10 years ago. After years of creating and rehearsing, their debut album released in 2013 reveals an indie-pop groove that joins the atmospheric R & B.
All their experiences fed this second album, recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Healy and Daniel, alongside Mike Crossey. This album brings back the 80s to the taste of the day and sublimates them. The 1975 captures the intoxicating feeling of falling in love and the ravages of a breakup.
