The stylised campaign brings stories of TATRAS to an oasis in the desert.
TATRAS is a brand of luxury down jackets for men and women founded in Japan and designed in Italy. The brand was founded in 2006 by Masanaka Sakao with the mission to develop an accessible and beautiful down jacket. The result: outerwear of the highest quality with impeccable construction, made from exclusive Japanese performance fabrics and wool moulded in Italy.
For this season, the luxury down jackets brand TATRAS is launching an artistic campaign that transports the spectator into an unspoilt desert landscape. Produced in computer-generated images, the concept gives a nod to magical realism by introducing totally unexpected cameos. This campaign is a nod to the Tatra Mountains. A sheep stops there, while others see the desert allegorically strewn with rain, which contradicts both the location and the digital process.
Photographed by photographer Bethany Vargas with models Justine Biticon and Jaron Baker, the Spring/Summer 2021 collection reveals an original approach to down, focusing on outerwear. The ultra-light down is highlighted by masterful details ranging from minimal hidden stitches and an elegant sheen to a light body at the back allowing a spring breeze.
The collection also aims to be daring thanks to the shape of the jacket-like patterns, which embrace femininity with gathered details and assertive cuts. Literally going from day to night, TATRAS reveals the orbit of its unequalled designs.
