The duo Schepers Bosman presented their general collection in collaboration with the artists of the Amsterdam-based label Bloomer Records.
For several years, Schepers Bosman has been dressing Bloomer Records artists on the biggest music stages.
The collections evolve through the interaction between these creative people and the way they do the work. The collections evolve through the interaction between these creative people and the way they do the work. They design experimentally in their offices, like a band’s rehearsal room. This overview collection celebrates all kinds of personal styles, shown in a gradient of colour, shape and material. All Schepers Bosman signatures are featured, such as: Dutch Denim, colourblocks, embroidered and handdrawn prints, bias cut checks, metallic cupro’s and the experimental patchworks.
The show was musically accompanied by Sal Rubinstein on drums and Teun Putker on guitar (Queen’s Pleasure). Nana Adjoa, Queen’s Pleasure, Indian Askin, Zoë Low, Champ Cinétique, Micro Talk, Adura Sulaiman, Darre Macrander, Juliette van Balen & Bart van der Elst were present at the exhibition. Shoes are in collaboration with Mephisto The Netherlands, artwork shoes in collaboration with Jelmer van Os.
After graduating from MA Central Saint Martins (Bosman) in London, Sanne Schepers and Anne Bosman officially started their designer duo collaboration in 2017, under the name Schepers Bosman. They studied together at ArtEZ Arnhem and gained work experience at Christopher Kane, Viktor & Rolf, Robert Clergerie en Alexander van Slobbe.
Amongst Schepers Bosman’s collaborations are Royal Auping, Mephisto, Enschede Textielstad, Pinqpong and Bloomer Records. They won the Les Etoiles Mercedes-Benz in Paris, the Lichting Gstar Talent Award in Amsterdam, two H&M Design Awards in Stockholm and Amsterdam and are nominated for a Dutch Design Award.
Schepers Bosman designs high end ready-to-wear and is known for their ‘‘work-in-progress’ aesthetics. All collections are designed and developed in the Netherlands. These are presented during the menswear fashionweeks in Paris and mainly sold in Japan.
