On September 22nd, “Revolution” will begin, at the Jean Bouin stadium in Paris, the first festival 100% composed of hip-hop. It was organized by the collective and cultural media Hiya! It is a unique experience that celebrates urban culture in all its forms.
For 12 hours, from noon to midnight, 12 artists will perform on stage for 45 minutes to represent 3 generations of French rap and hip-hop. Revolution’s programming includes: Assassin, Disiz, Kalash Criminel, Medine, Oxmo Puccino, RK, Sianna and 5 surprise guests announced in July.
Among all the artistic performances, Djs and beatboxers will take over the stage as the festival progresses, while street artists will create a huge mural fresco live. Workshops will also be offered for all those who want to learn about the performing arts.
