L’Olivier, located in the heart of Montmartre, offers refined seasonal cuisine in a bohemian atmosphere. We tested this bistro for you, and it’s well worth the detour.
The french restaurant L’Olivier, just a few meters from the 18th arrondissement town hall and Place des Abbesses, is a real gem nestled in the heart of Montmartre. We’re immediately transported into a warm, bohemian chic atmosphere. With its wooden tables, rattan chairs and hand-crafted hanging lamps, the Moroccan-influenced decor invites you to relax. It’s an idyllic setting in which to enjoy a meal with friends or lovers.
A refined and tasty menu
In the kitchen, chef Jennifer Rodriguez has designed a menu that is both simple and tasty, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce. A wide range of sharing dishes, starters, salads, main courses and desserts are available. The chef’s signature selection is particularly tempting, with options such as avocado tartine with poached egg, breaded shrimp with guacamole and pomegranate hummus. For main courses, more gourmet creations like grilled Black Angus beef fillet promise to satisfy even the most demanding palates.
A memorable tasting experience
We had the chance to taste the Linguine de Paris with truffle, and we were not disappointed! The pasta, cooked “al dente” to perfection, was topped with an enchanting truffle cream.
In conclusion, L’Olivier is the ideal place for a gourmet break after a stroll through the picturesque streets of Montmartre. This bohemian-chic bistro, with its authentic cuisine and friendly atmosphere, is well worth a visit for all food lovers.
