The Pilates market has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, driven by increasing demand for practices that combine strength, mobility and wellbeing.
It is within this context that NordicTrack, the flagship brand of the iFIT group, is launching its new Ultra Reformer series in France. With the Ultra 1 Reform RX S and the Ultra 1 Reformer, the brand is entering the connected Pilates Reformer segment with an immersive experience inspired by the world’s leading professional studios.
Developed after years of research and innovation, these new machines combine advanced technology, premium design and interactive content. Their ambition is to make Pilates more accessible, more intelligent and more personalised, both at home and in high end fitness facilities.
Technology designed for safety and simplicity by NordicTrack
The Ultra Reformer series stands out thanks to a range of innovative technical features. NordicTrack introduces the Smart Spine™ system, a design that fully encloses the springs of the reformer in order to minimise the risk of pinching or injury during high tension movements.
This approach also improves the durability of the equipment by protecting internal mechanisms from dust and perspiration. For users, this means a safer experience and reliable performance over time.
Another major innovation is the patented push button resistance adjustment system. Unlike traditional reformers that require manual handling of springs, resistance can be adjusted simply by activating or deactivating dedicated buttons. This solution enables smoother transitions between exercises while enhancing overall stability.
In addition, a studio quality rail system provides an exceptionally smooth and quiet glide, making the machines particularly suitable for home use.
An immersive experience powered by the iFIT ecosystem
Beyond the equipment itself, NordicTrack leverages the strength of the iFIT ecosystem to transform the user experience. Each machine features an integrated HD touchscreen that provides direct access to an extensive library of exclusive content.
iFIT subscribers gain access to more than 75 Reformer Pilates workouts and over 200 mat Pilates sessions led by internationally recognised instructors. Among them is Yvette McGaffin, a pioneer of the Reform method and Director of Pilates at iFIT.
Users can monitor their performance in real time through on screen metrics, including calories burned, movement speed and the resistance level recommended by instructors. This data driven approach supports progression and personalisation throughout every workout.
Two models designed for different needs
With this new range, NordicTrack is targeting a variety of user profiles. The Ultra 1 Reform RX S, featuring a silver and black finish inspired by luxury performance vehicles, is primarily aimed at specialised studios, premium fitness clubs and elite training facilities.
Meanwhile, the Ultra 1 Reformer offers a more compact format with an elegant maple finish designed for private homes, residential wellness spaces and luxury hotels. Its commercial launch is scheduled for summer 2026.
Connected Pilates enters a new dimension
With the Ultra Reformer series, NordicTrack is doing more than introducing a new fitness machine. The brand is redefining the Pilates experience through a combination of technological innovation, enhanced safety and personalised coaching.
By bringing together professional studio standards and the benefits of connected fitness, NordicTrack aims to make Pilates more accessible, immersive and aligned with the expectations of today’s wellness conscious consumers.
