The motto of Lōv is : “Flexible music, expandable rap”.
Lōv writes the way she sings and sings the way she laughs, it’s her second nature. Childhood has opened her mind to listen and learn: no boxes, she doesn’t want to be put into a style, a behaviour or a complex, she wants to write freely and sing as she is.
During the lockdown, Lōv tries her luck and sends a freestyle to Planète Rap. Spotted among many others by Fred Musa, her video is rested on the page of the emblematic Skyrock show. Eager to support new talent, the latter proposes to Lōv to come and perform a live song at Planète Rap on Friday 4 September.
Lōv presents her very first single “Lov de toi”, with Ovaground Prods in production (Vald, Da Uzi, Rémy…). It is a love song that reveals a sensitive part of the artist and mixes pop, jazz and rap.
On January 15th, Lōv offers us “Désert”, with which the artist demonstrates what she calls her “extensible rap”: a trap production and a nonchalant flow that is half rap, half song. She evokes the search for self and the quest for happiness, with her gaze turned towards the future.
Her first EP takes shape little by little and everyone is waiting for it impatiently.
