Behind Galerie Pénélope lies a story, but above all a love of stories.
Inspired by Penelope, her grandmother, who all her life nourished her intellectual coquetry with precious objects and books, Camille, the founder, decided to turn these shared passions into a profession, a hunter of historical treasures charged with emotion.
Their gemologist has been modernising the world of antique jewellery since 2016. She launched her business first on social networks, before opening an online shop in 2019.
The most beautiful pieces are selected thanks to her experience acquired in the expertise of jewels in a Parisian antique shop, then in the Haute Joaillerie within the Chaumet house.
Antique jewellery is now taking its rightful place : a unique piece of jewellery, which by its rarity becomes precious, beyond its own value.
Far from belonging to those jewels that we buy and then almost immediately forget, these treasures take on an ethical dimension by extending their life span when they enter yours.

The Odyssey collection
Galerie Pénélope invites you to travel with the Odyssey, the first collection imagined from antique pieces, in a very limited edition. Penelope is the name of one of the most faithful wives in history: for twenty years she wove a work every day that she unravelled at night, hoping for the return of Ulysses.
The adventures of his journey are told in Homer’s Odyssey. In the Penelope Gallery’s Odyssey, it is imagined that between the Cyclops and the mermaids, Ulysses had time to glean a few antique coins. And that on his return, Penelope will transform them into jewels, symbol of their love.
