Emma Solal and Baisers illicites, its music video French Artist

“I love love, and that’s all,” mantra of Emma Solal‘s new album, announces the color. The album (released September 28th) “L’amour, et c’est tout”, which follows “Robes du soir” released in 2012 and “Messages Personnels” (jazzy replay of the repertoire of Françoise Hardy) released in 2016, announces a turning point in Emma’s discography.

No more jazzy heartaches, more pop love, electro feelings and italo disco travel. Emma Solal is a chameleon pop, option young woman not always row. A pace not to touch her inherited from her past as an economist, but a frank smile from a Latin muse, heir to an Italy that would always have a sweet life. Beyond the numbers, the letters and the words, those of the songwriters she inspired and who created for her the atmospheric pop box of her new album. We imagine Francoise Hardy at Cassius, Lio at Daft Punk, or Barbara at Moroder. New Emma, new emotion.

The first excerpt, “Baisers illicites”, offers a first glimpse of the album produced by Aube and Nicolas Vidal. Directed by Christophe Léopold-Laffont, the clip plunges us into an atmosphere between Lynch and Almodovar, where erotic impulses mix with atmospheric pop. Clip to see below!
