While the Paris 2024 Olympic Games are just around the corner, a young sportswoman stands out from the crowd. Ambitious and reckless, meet Basma El Ghouate, the future of French sports and fashion design.
Image consultant, stylist, student at the IEP (SciencesPo Paris) and high level athlete, at only 19 years old Basma has more than one string to her bow and is on her way to becoming a real icon for the youth.

This aspiring champion has been cycling since she was 7 years old, and to understand her story, we have to go back to 2009, a year that marks the beginning of a promising career.
In 2014, the young woman obtains her first title of French champion in her discipline, which will later allow her to be coached by Gregory Baugé, a great legend of cycling, at the INSEP (Olympic Sports Center). In 2017, she participated in her first French Cycling Cup before finishing third in the French Championship of the American, but also won one of the rounds of the Winter Cup Ile de France Junior in 2019. The sportswoman continues her progress and is even received at the Elysee Palace by the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron to represent the generation of the Olympic Games of Paris 2024.
Basma El Ghouate dreams of dominating the cycling discipline, but not only. In 2021, she discovered the world of fashion and photography. One thing leading to another, the champion worked with model agencies and developed an address book, until she opened her company, Basstylist, in March 2021.

Basma started out as an assistant on shoots, then as a stylist for the artist Wejdene. She has been involved in this new sector at all costs and now works for many artists such as Oboy, Serge Ibaka, Naps, Diamond Platinumz, Mohombi, Frank Ntilikina, Keblack, Guy2Bezbar, Wejdene, Cinco, Maska, Nemir, DJSem, Kévin Malcuit, l’Algérino, SisiK, Fally Ipupa, Bolémvn, Boris Becker or Frenetik.
Today, the young woman is an image consultant and stylist for Dadju and also takes care of his fashion placements, possible collaborations and magazine appearances. Basstylist now has several assistants that Basma El Ghouate trains every day in order to transmit her know-how.
Stylist but also committed athlete, she was recently awarded the medal of Sports and Associative Commitment by the Prefect of Paris for her sports career and her activity within various associations such as All Together and Zepaide.
