After a first album with Universal Music, Whitney, winner of the French edition of The Voice 2019, is back with the single/clip of “Mood”, a fresh track with Urban Pop sounds under Hip Hop influences.
Whitney recently unveiled a new video for “Mood” in partnership with the brand Reebok, check it out below.
The single was ranked in the playlists “EQUAL” on Spotify, “Femmes du Rap” on Napster, “Pop & Rap FR” on Tidal and “New Music Friday” on TuneCore France.
On the media side, the young artist received the support of the radios NRJ in Marseille, TARMAC, Clique, RFI, Générations Lyon, Maritima, Hotmix, but also of the press: Pure Charts, Modzik, RFM, NRJ Hits, L’Actu, Aficia, Télé Loisirs, Gala. “Mood” is taken from a new album in preparation, composed of 12 tracks written by Whitney, alongside her artistic director, COMM.
This new project will follow the album “Le deal d’une idylle”, released in May 2020 by Universal Music France. Between tumultuous battles with her illness, fibromyalgia, and the pitfalls of youth, Whitney opens up throughout the songs. The young artist will present these new songs this year as the opening act for Louane’s spring/summer tour in France and Belgium, including the title “Toute l’année”.
After having impressed the jury throughout the show and this great night of finals, Whitney shares the stage with a major figure in urban pop. Alongside the great Aya Nakamura, the finalist set the stage on fire with “Djadja”… and ended up winning the 2019 edition of The Voice. Her talent is undeniable.
Throughout the show, Whitney seduces the jury and the viewers every week. With her endearing and touching personality, her crystalline voice has not gone unnoticed by the public, Whitney chose to join Mika’s team.
After a first album with Universal Mercury in 2020, she will make her return to the forefront of the scene at the beginning of 2022, offering her public a cover of SCH’s “Crack” in the summer of 2021. Without any doubt, visually, audibly and stylistically, everything is there.
