Coming from the diaspora of former Belgian Congo, Germaine Kobo is a singer inhabitant of Marseilles. Self-taught woman, she accompanies herself on the guitar, feels the music that she creates deep down inside.
She writes, composes and interpets her songs, using her emotions, her story, her philosophy. By the way, Germaine found her sister again after 40 years of separation, thanks to her music and internet. She then leaves for the meeting of her roots…the Congolese community in Europe.
Over time, Germaine Kobo develops her own musical style, very personal that we can qualify as visual, textual and danceable. This artist opened on the world multiplies collaborations with regional and international artists.
