New musical fresco for the Bisontinan singer Thomas Monica!
Two years after his first album Le Paradoxe de l’Utah, the Bisontin artist comes back to tell us about the words and the pains of everyday life, in a delicious mix of pop melodies, rock guitars and world music.
On the occasion of the release of Ulysses, his new EP orchestrated around Homer’s Odyssey that he reread during the confinement, Thomas Monica lifts the veil on Calypso, a second bewitching single about a confined love story…
In Greek mythology, Calypso is a nymph of the sea, having, by love, retained Ulysses with her during seven years. Here, the legend is retranscribed by Thomas Monica in the form of a confined love story, where through confinement and promiscuity, each one discovers the true facets of the other.
Le format original accentue cette fenêtre sur l’intime et sur le couple. Le clip est inspiré par le cinéma de Wes Anderson et le film Ghost Story (réalisé par David Lowery).
